The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy “text adventure” computer game was designed by Douglas Adams and Steve Meretzky. It was released by Infocom in 1984. The game allowed you to play through part of the story as Arthur Dent, and then as other characters.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was a six episode BBC miniseries written by Douglas Adams. It was filled with humour, space science fiction and really wild things. This 1981 TV version was based on the earlier radio series.
