Jackanory was a BBC series of story readings that originally ran from 1965 to 1996. This 2006 revival brought us two new stories: Muddle Earth and The Magician of Samarkand. John Sessions and Sir Ben Kingsley narrate the comedy and drama — blended with live performances, computer graphics and some lovely illustrations.
