The Day After Tomorrow (also known as Into Infinity) was a 1975 TV show about a spaceship leaving Earth to explore the universe. This one-off TV special incorporated a great deal of modern and Einsteinian physics. Relative time dilation, the Doppler effect, supernovas and black holes were all on display.

The Tripods was a based on a series of novels by John Christopher. This 1980s BBC series tells the story of a future world dominated by alien robots. The aliens control all adult humans with mind-controlling implants. The series also tells of a small group of teenagers fighting against the oppressors.
