Ashes to Ashes was the sequel to Life on Mars. Police detective Alex Drake finds herself in a hostage situation that goes very wrong. She wakes up to find herself in 1981! We see how she deals with that through 1981, 1982 and 1983. The series was first broadcast in 2008 through 2010.
