Harry Price: Ghost Hunter features the real historical figure Harry Price investigating the alleged haunting of a politician’s wife. This 2015 ITV production is set in the 1920s in the aftermath of WWI and the Spanish Flu. 
Supercar was the first science-fiction Supermarionation series from Gerry Anderson. It brought us an amazing vehicle and a number of marionette puppet characters. It ran on ITV in 1961 and 1962. 
The Enfield Haunting was a three-part ghost story from Sky Television. This 2015 Ghost Story was based on real-life events from the 1970s. 
Jim Henson’s The Storyteller featured a man telling stories by the fireplace with his talking dog. Live actors, muppets and other creations were used to tell a series of nine European folktales. 
The Last Dragonslayer is a 2016 Sky TV production that blends fantasy with modern-day elements. Jennifer Strange has been named as the Dragonslayer — but what happens if she doesn’t want to kill a dragon? This show was based on the novel by Jasper Fforde. 
Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace was a 2004 Channel 4 parody of 1980s horror, medical and police dramas. Fictional writer Garth Marenghi and his team introduce us to the long lost series Darkplace…. 
The Chronicles of Narnia was the BBC version of the classic children’s novels by CS Lewis. The three serials adapted The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe (1988), Prince Caspian (1989), Voyage of the Dawntreader (1989) and The Silver Chair (1990). 
Utopia was a 2013/2014 conspiracy series from Channel 4. The series had ongoing storylines, science fiction elements, a highly stylized look and a great deal of violence. 
Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde is a 2003 version of the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson. John Hannah stars as both Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Jekyll’s research into personality quickly leads to some startling consequences….

Red Dwarf is 30 years old today! The BBC2 space comedy originally ran from 1988 through 1999. Since 2009, the series has enjoyed a revival on Dave. Dave Lister is revived after three million years in stasis aboard the Jupiter Mining Corporation spaceship Red Dwarf. What could possibly go wrong? 
Black Mirror is an anthology series that usually examines the “side-effects” of possible near-future technology. We are covering the seven-episode run that was broadcast on Channel 4 from 2011 through 2014. We are not looking at the later episodes produced by Netflix. The series was created by Charlie Brooker. 
First Born was a 1988 BBC serial that dealt with the creation of a human-gorilla hybrid called Gor. What kind of life we’ll he have? How will he react to discovering his strange heritage? This show was adapted from the novel Gor Saga by Maureen Duffy.
Blake’s 7 is 40 years old today! Terry Nation’s classic space show ran from 1978 through 1981 on the BBC. A small group of outlaws use a stolen alien spaceship to fight against the powerful and oppressive Federation…. 
Whistle and I’ll Come to You was a 2010 BBC Christmas Ghost Story. This M.R. James adaptation starred John Hurt.
