The Avengers was a classic 1960s spy series from ITV. Over six series, it gradually incorporated more science-fiction elements. Patrick Macnee played John Steed along with a variety of colleagues in espionage.
In this two-part discussion, we cover the first three series (1961 – 1964), which featured Ian Hendry as David Keel and Honor Blackman as Cathy Gale.
